Every year, during the July 1st long weekend, Williams Lake, British Columbia, rolls out the welcome mat for you to enjoy several days of action packed rodeo excitement. In 2017, the 91st Annual Williams Lake Stampede will be held June 29th-July 2nd.

Join us for 5 Rodeo performances!

The rodeo features Canadian Professional Rodeo Association action including one of the world’s most dangerous events – Bull Riding. There’s also the classic beauty of Ladies Barrel Racing … Bareback and Saddle Bronc Riding … Steer Wrestling and Tie Down Roping. You’ll see all of the top cowboys – international rodeo competitors from Canada and the United States.

The Williams Lake Stampede is also pleased to present the ever-popular Mountain Race as well. Once the horn blows, those riders and horses provide extreme rodeo entertainment as they zig zag down the hill and onto the track for the dash to the finish line in front of the grand stand.

These events and many, many more all come together to create a great family fun filled rodeo and community-wide event – the World Famous Williams Lake Stampede! Don’t miss one minute of the excitement in the heart of British Columbia’s Cowboy Country – The Cariboo!
