Message from the President

Welcome to the 2013 Edition of the Williams Lake Stampede. The board of directors, our many volunteers and I hope you enjoy and share in the celebration of 87 years of Cariboo-Chilcotin tradition.

The Williams Lake Stampede is one of the major stops on the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association's circuit of rodeo's for the 2013 season. The Stampede is also a Canadian Tour rodeo, which will surely attract the top Canadian and USA cowboys and cowgirls to Williams Lake to earn valuable points going towards the Canadian tour Finals rodeo at Armstrong in September and the Canadian Final's redeo at Edmonton in November.

I would like to give a big THANK YOU to the city of Williams Lake, the Cariboo Regional District, the many sponsors and spectators who believe in and support a long lasting exciting part of our heritage.

The Williams Lake Stampede would not exist without the tireless efforts of the Board of Directors and they are just a part of the story.  Hundreds of volunteers from a variety of backgrounds give their time, expertise and a whole lot of elbow grease to make this world famous rodeo a success.  Hats off to all of you!
